Event: “What Does the Declaration of Independence Declare?” Lecture

Caption: On February 11, in partnership with the Jack Miller Center, the Moynihan Center hosted a lecture by Bard College professor @Roosevelt Montás titled “What Does the Declaration of Independence Declare?” to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. 

In his lecture, Dr. Montás invited the audience to examine the foundational principles of American democracy and the challenges faced in upholding them in today’s world. After the lecture, the audience was invited to participate in Q&A with Dr. Montás.
